The Nikkatsu Action Lounge
This is small but solid shrine site to the films produced by Japan's oldest studio (and oft-trendsetter) Nikkatsu Studios, who created in the 60s a spate of bad-assed action films setting a distinctive style which came to be known as Nikkatsu Action. Notable for hot hot babes (including our personal favorite, the still ridiculous and future Mrs. Resin Mari Annu), guys in hats which only the most secure-in-themselves heroes would wear, and a general playfulness which was (we're guessing) a good old fuck you to the more stodgy James Bond films of the time. Nikkatsu Action Lounge offers up the relevant posters and talent bios of of the period.
