Introductions are in order
If you've been following the Screenhead saga for the past few weeks, as I know you have, then your probably aware that change is in the air. Just like the song, only more so. Although, now that I think about it, the song isn't "Change is in the air", but "Love is in the air". So never mind what I just said and scratch that. Catchy tune though.
Part of that change, is me. The new head of the head, the screenhead that is, gave me one week to prove my worth. Normally, I would just sleep with him and get it over with (you have no idea how often that works), but given that we live 3 continents apart, I'll have to earn my wings the old fashion way. Or maybe sleeping with someone to get the job IS the old fashion way, who am I to judge with way is the old fashioned one.
So what can you expect from me? Well for one thing, a whole lot of swearing. I love that shit and I'll be damned if they'll ever stop me.
But seriously, I really do swear a lot, so don't let your kids near the site. Like, ever.
More about me after the jump. You know you want to know more.
Other then that, I'll try and keep you abreast (Don't you just LOVE that word?) of movie news and game development. Be sure the occasional freaky clip will still make an appearance. To be perfectly honest, we're not (at least I'm not) entirely sure which way the site will be going, but that doesn't mean we aren't eager to get there.
Dong left some pretty big shoes to fill. Scary, awkward looking shoes that smell funny, but big shoes nonetheless. And by god! We will fill those shoes to the best of our shoe filling abilities. At this point I'm tempted to continue with the shoe jokes, but I'll save that for another day.
I do have some good ideas for the site which I'll be putting in motion no sooner then, right now.
Let's get on with it.
- Lucas Woodwater.
PS. Do not, I repeat, do not, under any circumstances, hesitate to let us know what you think of the new and, as of yet to be seen, improved Screenhead. We hoping that your comments and your "constructive criticism (IE. Complaining)" will help us make something really fun for everyone! You can use the comments box if you have a login or you can use tips@screenhead.com.

lucas,
bring back the original blogger/copywriter. the writing was so much funnier. you need to work out your pop culture lexicon and sharpen your wit before attempting to keep alive his style of humor. yikes!

Ouch!
You guys are brutal. I just like movies and games, I never said I was a Dong Resin.
I AM on probation, so maybe you won't have to suffer me too for too long eh?
Thanks for the "constructive criticism" though.
:D

Sorry, but I'm going to have to concur with the other guys. If you want some constructive criticism, for a start stop posting shit that's sooooooo two weeks ago. Give your keyboard (and us) a break - keep your posts brief and let the links speak for themselves.

My advice -- don't try so hard. Your "witty banter" has an air of desperation to it. Pretend you're writing each post to a very close friend who once saw you go down on a dead hooker -- for kicks. He knows all your secrets, so you're not going to impress him.
And yeah, some more obscure links would be sweet. I come here regularly for the weird, sweet, fucked up shit that I saw nowhere else.
I hope this assists you, assuming you weren't turfed already.
Nik
PS.
Is the RSS feed fucked in the ass or what?
